4th and 5th Grade Assignment #26

Personal Flag (2)
Objective: Students will create their our Flag that illustrates significant things about their own lives.
Materials: paper, cardboard/string, pencils, scissors, construction paper, markers/colored pencils/crayons
Procedure: During the course of the next three visits, students will create their our Flag that illustrates significant things about their own lives. Having spent the previous week deconstructing and reconstructing the Florida Flag, students will brain storm about the things that are important to them. On the second day, students will finish drawing their “state seal” and trace them with markers/pens. If they finish early, they can start coloring will colored pencils/markers/ crayons.
Assessment: A=follows ALL instructions (or does more) with great craftsmanship B=follows MOST instructions with good craftsmanship C=follows SOME instructions with good craftsmanship D=does little work/ poor effort F=does NO work
