Egyptian Portrait
with hieroglyphics pt.2
Objective: Students will make their own
Egyptian scroll. On day two, the students will draw a frame/border around their
portrait. This frame will contain hieroglyphic designs.
Materials: paper (papyrus), pencils
Procedure: After watching demonstration
by me, the class will incorporate hieroglyphic patterns into the frame of their
portrait.
Assessment: A=follows ALL
instructions (or does more) with great craftsmanship B=follows MOST instructions with good craftsmanship C=follows SOME instructions with good
craftsmanship D=does little work/
poor effort F=does NO work
