Bats and
Habitats
Objective: Students will create and take
home a picture of a bat in a cave.
Materials: construction paper, scissors,
glue, colored pencils
Procedure: After discussing the habitats
of bats, students will draw a bat on black construction paper. Students will
ball-up/crumple brown construction paper for the texture of the cave. Students
will cut out and glue their bats to their caves.
Assessment: A=follows ALL
instructions (or does more) with great craftsmanship B=follows MOST instructions with good craftsmanship C=follows SOME instructions with good
craftsmanship D=does little work/
poor effort F=does NO work
