Paint in the
Style of Georgia O’Keefe
Objective: Students are to draw giant
plants/flowers in the style of Georgia O’keefe.
Materials: 18”x24” paper, markers,
O’keefe prints, paint brushes and water cups
Procedure: After reading about the life
and works of Georgia O’keefe, students will trace their flower poster/drawing
with a variety of washable markers and paint over their entire picture with
water. The colors will bleed to gether slightly to create a painted effect.
Assessment: A=follows ALL
instructions (or does more) with great craftsmanship B=follows MOST instructions with good craftsmanship C=follows SOME instructions with good
craftsmanship D=does little work/
poor effort F=does NO work
