Kindergarten and 1st Grade Assignment #14

Draw a Georgia O’Keefe Flower
Objective: Students are to draw giant plants/flowers in the style of Georgia O’keefe.
Materials: 18”x24” paper, pencils, O’keefe prints
Procedure: After reading about the life and works of Georgia O’keefe, students will draw a flower as big as they can on a larger than normal piece of paper.
Assessment: A=follows ALL instructions (or does more) with great craftsmanship B=follows MOST instructions with good craftsmanship C=follows SOME instructions with good craftsmanship D=does little work/ poor effort F=does NO work
